Big Government takeover

With all this hop
raw going on with our Government, from everything from healthcare
reform, to gun control, I thought that I’d like to voice my opinion.
I for one don’t see a problem with healthcare the way it is.
When I get sick I go see Billy Bob over at the pharmacy and he gives
me something for it. If
it’s more along the lines of I’ve done gone and broke something
again, then I go see Ol Doc Rogers.
He really aint no medical doctor but he use to be a medic
back in the war, and so far he’s done a pretty good job of setting
my bones back in place.
So in my mind, medical insurance is for city folk, my Dad lived to
the right old age of 52 and he just like I have never had any.
What really gets
me in the craw is all this big governments’ talk of gun control, and
how that is going to save thousands of lives each year, by taking my
guns away.
Well, this got me to thinkin of what my Granddad use to say when
they outlawed machine guns.
“ Them damn
revenuers are going to make it so a man can’t make an honest living
brewing shine.” He also
taught me the fallowing regarding gun control, and why it was
important to own a few.
An armed man is a
citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
Gun control is
not about guns; it's about control.
If guns are
outlawed, I guess we’ll be back to using swords.
Free men do not
ask permission to bear arms.
If you don't know
your rights you don't have any.
Those that trade
liberty for security have neither.
What part of
"shall not be infringed" do you not understand?
The Second
Amendment is in place in to make sure the Big Government doesn’t
ignore the others.
Over 35 people
live in this county and all of them own a firearm and not a one of
them killed someone yesterday.
Guns only have
two enemies: rust and liberals politicians.
Know guns, know
peace and safety. No guns, no peace nor safety.
You don't shoot
to kill; you shoot to stay alive.
Assault is a
behavior, not a device.
Criminals love
gun control -- it makes their jobs safer.
If guns cause
crime, then matches cause arson.
Only a government
that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.
You only have the
rights you are willing to fight for.
When you remove
the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.
The American
Revolution would never have happened with gun control.
And finally a
couple thoughts of mine own:

with this thought "...A government of the people, by the people, for
the people... Whatever happened to that?
